Looks like this game is out. Should be in stores already. I'm thinking about picking it up but I want to see if anybody has played it and can give me a short review.

I've only read one write-up on it so far and the gist of it was that the game doesn't actually start until you're level 30. Before that you're stuck with the skills you start with. I guess it gets better after that. But hey, you can pilot mechs! Sounds much cooler than riding a horse around.

If they're smart, and the game is good, they'll release a trial version.
