I thought I was cool making my jumps and stuff. But this video shows a pretty sweet ride.

This is awesome... both the game and the video. The ending of the video almost made me want to stand up and cheer.

I made a copy of it on this page for safe keeping (and for guaranteed viewing behind Websense in the case Deviant Art ever gets blocked).

Not yet. It's hard to get it to work right. That helicopter guy must have spent hours doing that.

Yeah you can see some of the landings have like 10 different arcs as he kept trying to get it just right. The tool doesn't have an eraser so you can always see the failed attempts.

I think you should make the guy sled around on a naked lady. Maybe do a loop around the boobies. Make it happen. Ready, go.

It sounds like he plans on releasing a new version with a guy who stays on the damn sled and an undo feature. I'll wait until then.

Some of the line rider videos on youtube showcase him falling off in interesting ways. Down a flight of stairs like a ragdoll, or trying to see how far he can slide around. One looked like they got him into an infinite loop of hitting a stick and getting thrown backwards, sliding down a hill into the stick again and again.

It does need an eraser tool quite badly though.

He'll still fall off, but it won't be as easy.

I've managed a few rides of moderate entertainment value, backflips etc. How am I getting this on video? Fraps or something?
OMFG WoW!

I've got a pretty good one going on. I realized that all those extra lines you end up with can be turned into scenery, so my ride looks like a nice mountain ride with clouds and stuff in the background, along with some other surprises. Unfortunately I'm at a point where he goes down a very steep hill and goes flying off a jump, and I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to draw the landing.

Well, scratch that. Apparently the game didn't keep the six saves I made for that track. I probably worked on it for two hours or so too.

He's going to be releasing a hugely improved version very soon. Here's a video done by one of the developer's friends that showcases what it can do:

Wow, that's crazy. Looks like he either ignores lines that would cause a crash, or there's a concept of "background" lines that are always ignored. Does seem that the little dude sticks to the board a bit better now.

Yeah, there are background lines now. He might as well rename it "Boob 'n Dong Rider".
