Wii

I know I'm not going to convince anyone no matte rwhat I say. So while I wont go into details needless to say Wii is the best alternative to the PC out there. It's an actual console and super fun with 3 other players. Me and my friends have been having a blast playing games which if made for ps3, pc, xbox would be consider way to simply for Wii they are insanely amusingly entertaining.

That is my story, the end.

Who's not convinced to buy a Wii? I'd probably have one already if the stupid component cables were actually available (composite looks like bleeding ass on my TV). Nintendo wiily messed up this launch as far as accessories go.

I figured since no one had mentioned it prior to its launch that it was dead weight on these forums.

Perhaps I was wrong to think that.

You should know by now that I get every console (except shit like Gizmondo). I really don't want to get a PS3 but I know I probably will someday. I plan on getting the Wii once I can get component cables for it.

So it's pretty sweet, huh? Which games have you played?

I've heard people say it's pretty fun. I don't expect to get one, though.

Rayman (holy shit nintendo si going to single handidly solve the obesity problem along with Rayman by ubisoft) Not to mention its hella fun multiplayer.

Super monkey ball is pretty good too, takes a bit more time to get used to the controls on that one though, a bit funky but im sure you learn as you go.

Wii sports has its hits and misses...bowling is fun, tennis is alright too, boxing seems like a throwaway title.

That's about it right now.

Funny I heard someone else saying boxing was the best. Guess it depends on what you're into.

I think its mostly because I've fantacized about fight night 4 being 2 wiimotes with awesome gameplay.

And while that wont ever happen I probably expected far too much from Wii Sports Boxing.

I read that boxing degrades into who can do the quickest little jabs. Which still sounds fun, at least for a bit.

Technically, what I heard also involved copious amounts of alcohol. So maybe everyone is right.

I'll get one if SSBM2 has online multiplayer.

Was really hyped up about Red Steel, but I've read nothing but bad things about it :/

Agreed. Speaking of, Small Arms was released for the Xbox Live Arcade today. It's a Smash Bros. clone but with guns instead of special moves. It's really fun and play over Xbox Live is flawless.

So I finally got component cables for the Wii, but now I can't find a Wii. It looks like my only choice will be to camp out on the 10th at some places (not happening) or wait until the 18th, when some stores will be having midnight sales and shit like that. I'm so sick of shortages for popular items.
