Here is some info about the upgrade that's being done to UO, if anybody cares.

Seems they are upgrading more than just graphics. New interface which looks nice and they're spending some time on PvP, here is an excerpt from the notes.

"PVP in UOKR is a HIGH priority. Cohen mentioned that not only do the Devs play everyday, but also a good portion of their time is spent in PVP, some spending more than half their time in PVP alone. They are working to revitalize PVP, although they did not go into specifics."

Its worth checking out if you like UO and have ever thought of maybe trying it out again. The release for Kingdom Reborn is scheduled for spring.

Sounds like they're putting in some pretty cool changes.

One of the main reasons I left was because of the horrid interface and need for 3rd party programs like UOAssist - when you got to the important areas, a few people had scripts that would instaloot your shit even before you could drag a single item.
