They should have given people points, or at the very least given people a voucher to redeem for 1 game out of a selection of 4 or something.

But, at least it's a multiplayer game. Maybe it'll be fun.

Obviously we'd all be happier if we had a choice. However, any free game is better than nothing. I wasn't even affected by the service issues, so I can't complain. I'm stoked to try out this new game.

Apparently if you have already purchased this game, you can call Xbox support for some other form of compensation. Whatever that is.

Also, I will be changing teams inside Microsoft to start working on a new Xbox Live service that will be released around next holiday season. I probably won't be able to do anything about your complaints or tell you anything secret, but I'll try to pass along your feedback once I'm over there.

I played Undertow for about 30 minutes. It's not bad for a free game. It's got voice acting and cut scenes, which I just skip. The gameplay is a fast paced dodge and shoot against other players or AI while trying to take over territories.

Sorry, no free hardware.
