Post any good April Fools links here. One I think is a joke is EGM's report of Lego Halo.

EGM also reported that Bungie was working on a multiplayer XBLA game called Plunder, which puts you in the role of a pirate. Could be a spinoff of Pimps at Sea, so I am skeptical of it being real.

They were adamant in the Plunder article that it was not a joke. Lego Halo is the real joke, and they only do one prank in the April issue. As a side note, the Lego Halo is obviously fake because Halo Legos don't exist, while Batman, Star Wars and Indiana Jones Legos do (and, let's face it, EGM is not going to scoop a story that big).

Plunder is an RTS that was somehow inspired by Catan, which you can see in the map design, but I have no idea how a pirate RTS could be based on Catan.

Instead of a universal upload/download system, gamers will virally pass maps to each other through friend lists. So once you play a new map, it'll automatically be saved to your system.

It's nice to finally see consoles do what PCs have been doing for approximately 15 years now.

Also, my wife heard on the radio today that Courtney Love is going to get Nirvana back together and release a new album with her as lead singer. I had to remind her that it's April Fool's Day and if it was true the DJ would probably have said "This is not an April Fool's joke", then started crying.
